Water/Aqueous is the fifth missing family and the one most likely to be dismissed as trivial — it should not be. Its value is as the baseline that makes every other family's ratings legible: water is the only medium in 552 rows rating E on all six materials at both temperatures, so any deviation elsewhere is attributable to the chemical rather than the temperature or material. This is also where the softening, media filtration, UV, DI/EDI and instrumentation lines all converge, and the highest-volume search surface of the ten families.
