Printing is one of the industries Asahi names for its 5-family metal-replacement set (semiconductor, mining, pulp and paper, electroplating, printing, landfills, aquaculture, wastewater, aquariums, theme parks, cruise ships). Industry-list evidence with no printing-specific spec, but the named chemistries on the same source — solvents, oxidizers, caustics, acidic waste — are press-wash and fountain-solution chemistry. The Type-14 weir design seals bubble-tight even with pigment/ink solids and its 3-layer diaphragm's PVDF gas barrier resists solvent-vapor permeation; the Wafer Check's 120°F maximum is the lowest ceiling of the five families and rules it out of heated dryer-side loops. ISO 5752 short pattern is the commercial hook: drop-in replacement when a metal valve corrodes out.
