The Glass Ceramic Matrix Composite is the novel material and the reason this cell earns a place: the vendor markets it for combined corrosion AND abrasion, explicitly naming seawater and scrubber systems — most materials in this project's rules address one property or the other. The FRP 5-layer laminate schedule is unusually specific vendor engineering disclosure and makes excellent open reference content. Real selection distinction: the FRP series uses FRP as the primary chemical barrier while GS Series uses a thermoplastic liner with fiberglass only for structural strength — two different answers to the same problem. Duplex configurations give continuous uninterrupted operation, the requirement in any recirculating aquatic or scrubber loop.
